Deborah Meier on Education 
We already are robots. I am the IEP Coordinator at our school and I write the IEPs for our diploma-bound students. Just last week, we had a training in how the Feds want our IEPs to look like now: all Common Core, No Needs. What were we to do with this? if we are to keep our jobs (and this is important), we must become the robots that the Feds want us to be. By the way, I am in favor of common standards for all states. Otherwise, it will be the rich states against the poor ones. It’s in the implementation that we see the problems, including the lock-step, Orwelian compliance with concepts the so-called leaders fail to understand.
